  • Notice the details of your life. Most of the time we are running through life on auto-pilot. Slow down and appreciate your surroundings. See if anything makes you think a little differently or inspires you.

I have found that any change in schedule can strip away the veneer of the mundane. For instance, I take a new route to work, or change the time I take my lunch break or read instead eat. These are simple things that can spur creative thought and ease boredom.
